2:18 Run, in conjunction with Victoria's Prairie Inn Harriers Running Club, is pleased to host the Harriers Thetis Lake 20K Cross Country Relay. This popular trail relay is a good tune up for the Harriers Gunner Shaw 10K Cross Country Classic on November 27 and the Harriers Stewart Mountain 10 Mile/5 Mile Cross Country Challenge on December 5.

The female builds a platform nest of sticks and vegetation on the ground, with the male also contributing material. Nests are usually located at or adjacent to rich hunting grounds, often in a wet meadow or freshwater marsh, and sometimes in a farm field or on a prairie. Female harriers lay three to six eggs, then incubate them for roughly a month.

Number, food, and awards pick up are at North Saanich Middle School, 10400 McDonald Park Rd, and the race itself starts and finishes at the Tourist Information Centre parking lot, 10382 Pat Bay Highway. This fast and flat course is very rural and run on quiet roads.
